Safety
Safety FIRST!!!
Surfwedgy and ALL other wake shapers if used for wakesurfing should only be used on an inboard boat. Think about this now... the thingy that is closest to the surfer shouldn't be a spinning, sharp, blender like thing called a propeller! INBOARDS ONLY. This of course includes INBOARD Jet boats. The only I/O (inboard/outboard) boats currently safe to surf behind are ones with foward facing propellers such as the Volvo Penta Forward Drive system on some new models of Cobalt boats. With this forward facing set-up the propellers are pointed towards the bow not stern.
Please see some example drawings below we borrowed from carefreeboats.com and Volvo Penta.com

Installation of Surfwedgy
The Surfwedgy is a Wakesurf shaper which is guaranteed to increase the wake to surf-able size and push!!
Suction it to the side of your boat (nearest to the stern as possible) in a flat section just below water level.
Weight boat equally on Port and Starboard and some in the bow and attach the Surfwedgy on the opposite side to the one you ride on and Voila!
Nice clean Big Surf Wave!!!
